About the "recipes"
I'm a home cook, not a professional. I have no culinary training. I learned to cook reading Saveur and The Joy of Cooking. Most of the recipes here were conceived and tested all in one night. Results may vary!
I try to use locally-grown, organic (or minimally treated) produce, grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, and free-range poultry whenever possible. I like cooking for the seasons.
I live in Brooklyn, New York with my husband Lane Twitchell and our son Jasper.
